Registration
If I am a presenter, do I need to register for the conference?
No, as a presenter you are automatically registered for the conference.
What are the registration deadlines?
Online registraton for OWS15 is open through February 16, 2015.
When does The 2015 Outsourcing World Summit officially begin and end?
The Publisher's Cup Golf Tournament (pre-registration required) is on Sunday, February 15, and all delegates are invited to the Early Registration Champagne Welcome on Sunday evening, the Customer-Only and Provider/Advisor-Only Networking Sessions on Monday morning and the Kick-Off Luncheon on Monday, but the official conference start is Monday, February 16, at 12:430 pm. The conference closes after lunch on Wednesday afternoon.
Are all sessions included in the conference fee? Do I need to pre-register for breakout sessions?
Yes, all regular sessions and breakout sessions are included in your conference registration fee. You do not need to pre-register for breakout sessions. They are first come, first served so arrive at your session rooms early to be sure you'll get a seat.
What is not covered in the conference fee?
Workshops, golf, and some special events have an additional fee; see the conference program or website for fees.
I've already registered but cannot attend. Can I cancel or transfer my registration?
Name changes are gladly accepted at any time. Cancellations are charged a 25% fee up to 30 days in advance of program date, 100% thereafter, and must be received in writing. Contact Beryl via email at beryl.sorensen@iaop.org.
I need a receipt - how do I get one?
Your email confirmation is your receipt.
Does IAOP membership come with my registration fee?
No. However, IAOP Professional Members receive a $200 discount on registration rates, so for an additional $145, you can become a member and register at the member rate.
I'm an IAOP member. Do I get a discount for the conference?
IAOP Professional Members receive a discount on their conference registration. However, you must be a Professional Member in good standing through the end of the conference (February 18, 2015).
Are meals included in my registration fee?
Lunch is included on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as continental breakfasts on Tuesday and Wednesday in the Global Services Mall.
What else is included in my registration fee?
The registration fee also includes access to main sessions and breakout sessions and all conference related materials. Also included is full access to the Summit Mobile App. It does not include hotel, travel, or airport transfers.
I'm registered to attend the Summit. Can my spouse attend the meal functions? Exhibit Hall?
Only registered delegates may attend meal functions and enter the Global Services Mall.
Is there a group discount?
Groups of 3 or more from the same organization and registering at the same time can receive a 10% discount. Please email
delegateservices@iaop.org for a group discount code.
I qualified for a promotion - when and where do I get it?
All gift cards and other promotions will be distributed at the Summit Registration Desk. Reminder... Corporate Member complimentary passes, courtesy rates, credit letters and other complimentary passes are not eligible for any promotions.
Can I have a list of the other conference delegates?
IAOP does not share a formal list of delegates prior to the Summit, however all delegates are added to the Summit Mobile App as they register. Browse other delegates here.
How many attendees are expected? What percentage are customers?
Over 800 delegates attended The 2014 Outsourcing World Summit. We expect to surpass that number in 2015. Approximately 1/3 were customers, with the remainder being split between providers, advisors, and academics.
Housing/Travel
Where and when is The 2015 Outsourcing World Summit?
The next Summit is at the JW Marritt Phoenix Desert Ridge, Phoenix AZ, Feb. 16-18, 2015.
Do I need to book my hotel room and make my own travel arrangements?
All conference delegates are responsible for their conference travel and hotel arrangements. Please make your reservations early as this is a holiday week and the room block fills quickly. Hotel information can be found on the venue page of the website. Any updates or changes to your reservation need to be made directly with the hotel, not IAOP.
What if the hotel is sold out?
There are several hotels nearby. Marriott Reservations and IAOP will help you be placed on a wait list or obtain a room at a nearby hotel.
What is the nearest airport?
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is located about 30 minutes from the JW Marritt Phoenix Desert Ridge Hotel.
What transportation is available from the airport?
There are numerous taxis, car services, and rental cars available at the airport.

Where do I pick up my name badge and registration materials?
You can pick up your conference materials and name badge at the North and South Registration Desks in the Hotel Conference Center.
Will there be a conference program available onsite?
The final program and exhibit guide will be in your registration bag along with other special information.
Am I allowed to record sessions or presentations at the conference?
No recording is allowed.
When does the Global Services Mall open?
The OWS15 Global Services Mall opens Monday evening with a Welcome Reception, is open during breakfasts and breaks on Tuesday, and concludes with a cocktail reception on
Tuesday evening.
What is the best way to get updates at the conference?
Watch the electronic "reader boards" (located near the Registration Desk) - updates are posted as they happen. Updates will also be communicated through the Mobile App.
Will there be free WiFi throughout the entire conference area?
Free WiFi is available in hotel rooms, hotel lobby, and the Networking Lounge.
Is there a business center onsite?
Yes, the business center is located between the hotel shops and the conference center.
Does IAOP collect feedback about the conference?
Yes, a few days after the conference ends you will receive an email with a link to our conference evaluation form. We appreciate your input!
