IAOP Launches ConnectIAOP
Member-Only, Online Community will Allow Members to
Connect and Communicate with Each Other

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, October 14 – IAOP^® announced today the launch of its new member-only, online community, ConnectIAOP. As IAOP continues to expand globally, ConnectIAOP allows members to strengthen their content knowledge, share strategies, as well as exchange ideas and resources with professionals from around the world.

“We know the value IAOP members put on the networking and educational opportunities we provide through our conferences and programs during the year,” said IAOP CEO Debi Hamill. “To build on that value, we are excited to enter into this new phase of member communications by providing IAOP members an environment to connect, engage and share critical industry information and best practices in real time.”

This new community will also help IAOP communicate more dynamically with our members, by responding quickly to your needs and receiving your input on issues that matter most to you. This will only strengthen our ability to implement IAOP’s mission of bringing together customers, providers and advisors in a collaborative, knowledge-based environment, promoting professional and organizational development, recognition, certification and excellence.

IAOPConnect is an evolving community and can be found at http://connect.iaop.org/home or through the My IAOP member section of IAOP’s website. It will allow members to find each other by name or profile details, start discussion threads, send private messages to other users, leave comments directly on others profiles, view the integrated calendar of upcoming IAOP chapter meetings and events and keep a personal calendar of events.
