IAOP, ISG to Honor CBRE with Fifth Annual Global
Outsourcing Social Responsibility Impact Award

WINDERMERE, FL, September 27, 2016 — IAOP and Information Services Group (ISG) today announced that CBRE Group, Inc (NYSE:CBG), a global commercial real estate services company, will be honored as the winner of the fifth annual IAOP/ISG Global Outsourcing Social Responsibility Impact Award (GOSRIA).

CBRE was selected as the recipient based on a number of achievements, including becoming the first carbon-neutral global real estate outsourcing firm, markedly increasing corporate and employee giving to charitable and community organizations, and significantly expanding and improving its ethics and compliance program. In 2012, CBRE was the recipient of the inaugural GOSRIA Award.

The award will be presented to CBRE during the 2017 Outsourcing World Summit in San Antonio, Texas. Representatives from CBRE will accept the award during the Summit’s Award Luncheon, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. At that time, ISG will make a cash donation in the name of CBRE to its chosen charity, CBRE Cares, which will be allocated to its disaster relief mission. Debi Hamill, IAOP CEO, and Todd Lavieri, president of ISG Americas,
Australia and New Zealand, will present the award.

CBRE’s approach to corporate responsibility in outsourcing is widely recognized as an integral part of the firm’s business conduct. As the world’s largest real estate services company, CBRE takes seriously its impact on clients, suppliers, employees, communities and stakeholders. Their RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) are fundamental to their approach and success, helping to set a culture that enables CBRE to be not only profitable but to fulfill responsibilities as a corporate citizen, consciously focusing attention on the areas where they can make the greatest impact.

“A key to CBRE’s leadership position is our unwavering commitment to responsible business practices,” said Bill Concannon, CEO of Global Workplace Solutions for CBRE.  “We thank ISG and IAOP for this award and for recognizing the positive impact of our professionals in our communities and on the environment.”

CBRE also is being honored today at ISG’s Sourcing Industry Conference (SIC) at the Westin Stonebriar Resort in Frisco, Tex.  ISG’s Todd Lavieri will be announcing CBRE as the winner in front of an audience of more than 200 service provider representatives. He will be joined on stage by IAOP’s Renee Preston, Managing Director, Association Development, and John Murphy, Chief Operating Officer, Global Workplace Services, CBRE.

“It is imperative today that we recognize the positive impact sourcing professionals make in our communities and on the environment,” said Debi Hamill. “CBRE continues to advance the social mission dimensions of business and society through their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and we are thrilled to honor them this year.”

“Corporate Social Responsibility, especially in the areas of environmental and workplace compliance, is fast becoming a prime consideration among enterprise buyers for doing business with service providers,” said Lavieri. “We are pleased to have been in the vanguard of this trend when we partnered with IAOP five years ago to establish the GOSRIA award, and we are delighted to recognize CBRE with this year’s honor.”

IAOP and ISG established the award in 2012 to recognize service provider excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility. The winner demonstrates exemplary leadership in, and ongoing commitment to, activities that foster community involvement, fair operating and labor practices, respect for human rights, attention to environmental impacts, consumer issues and good governance.

CBRE was selected from among applicants for IAOP’s 2016 Global Outsourcing 100. The independent judging panel, selected from IAOP’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, was chaired by William Hefley, Ph.D., CDP, COP, Clinical Professor, Naveen Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas and included Mary D. Lewis, Manager, Sourcing Governance & Analytics, Sprint; Brian Nicholson, Professor of Information Systems, Manchester Business School; and Micheline Ntiru, Associate Director, Rockefeller Foundation.
