INDUSTRY TRAILBLAZERS CAMILLE DRUMMOND AND KATE VITASEK TO BE INDUCTED INTO IAOP'S LEADERSHIP HALL OF FAME
Poughkeepsie, NY, May 9, 2023 - Camille Drummond, Senior Vice President for Global Business Services (GBS) at bp, and Kate Vitasek, renowned author, educator, and consultant best known for creating the Vested business model, are set to be inducted into IAOP's Leadership Hall of Fame. IAOP's Leadership Hall of Fame is its highest honor, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the industry and society through their leadership, vision, and innovation.
Camille has led GBS since January 2018, overseeing 6,000 employees across 3 global and 8 regional centers, providing Finance, Procurement, Customer and HR services to bp's global businesses. She is passionate about opportunities for under-represented communities in the workplace and is instrumental in progressing bp's ambition to reflect diversity inside the company. She is an Executive Sponsor for bp's business resource group PEN (Positively Ethnic Network) and previously chaired the bp women's network in London. She is on the advisory board of the UK's Business in the City's race leadership team. She has won a Black British Business award and has been named on key ethnicity influencer lists, including Powerlist,?Empower and BAME100.

In 2013, Vitasek published her groundbreaking book, "Vested: How P&G, McDonald's, and Microsoft are Redefining Winning in Business Relationships." The book introduced the Vested business model, which has become a widely recognized and highly respected approach to outsourcing that emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and value creation for all parties involved.
Passionate in her quest to help companies transform their business relationships, Kate inspires and motivates companies around the world through teaching, speaking and workshops on Vested's five proven "rules" for achieving transformational results. Vested stems from award-winning research by the University of Tennessee funded by the United States Air Force to find a "better way to outsource."
Kate has appeared on Bloomberg Radio, CNN, NPR and Fox Business News. In addition, her work has been featured in over 300 articles in publications, including Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Chief Executive Magazine, CIO Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Journal of Commerce, World Trade Magazine and Intelligent Sourcing Magazine.
