A Message from IAOP’s CEO: Let's Talk Location
Debi Hamill, CEO, IAOP
With the change of season, it’s a time to plan for what we want in our professional and personal lives. At IAOP, we are rejuvenated by autumn’s arrival and are here to support you with the programs, resources and know-how to reach your business, career and life goals.
This fall, we are offering a myriad of programs in all formats (virtual, in-person and hybrid) to help you expand your expertise and make the valuable connections to succeed.
With our Centers of Excellence as the thought leadership hub of activity, we were thrilled to recently present “Igniting Change Through Social Impact,” on Sept. 20 in San Francisco. We are so grateful to Sutherland for hosting this event and for the amazing speakers and everyone in the social impact community who participated in this incredible meeting of the minds. For more, read our stories in this issue of PULSE.
From our amazing speakers, Center for Social Impact leadership team, our fabulous host and partner, Sutherland, to the members of our social impact community, all of you have and continue to play a critical role. Together, united with a common goal to make the world a better place, is a wonderful place to be!
Following that, we will be on location in Chicago on Oct. 24 at the offices of Baker McKenzie for a one-day event focused on Digital Technologies that you don’t want to miss as we explore how to leverage the disruption caused by Artificial Intelligence and more. If you joined us for OWS 23, you’ll remember the beautiful skyline views!
We also have been busy focusing on IAOP’s future aspirations. With the continued growth in the global impact sourcing movement, we can foster the industry for good and make the world a better place – which is an inspiring common goal we invite everyone to join us in accomplishing.
Our new Strategic Advisory Board executive committee is hitting the ground running with new ideas and energy to lead IAOP with the continued industry evolution. PULSE talked with Chair Maura Hudson about the exciting direction and her goals to “keep the ball” moving.
IAOP also is delighted to have Amanda Safdar back as Director of Member Engagement where she is working with the IAOP team to elevate the member experience, nurture deep connections, and establish environments where we can unite for shared learning and growth.
Enjoy the splendor of the season and all that it offers you personally and professionally!
