Whether your objective is to arm your team with the skills and tools necessary to improve outcomes with your strategic partnerships and outsourcing relationships or get your team certified, the COP Master Class is the soup to nuts course geared to prepare professionals at every level with an intensive learning experience on the state-of-the-art, end-to-end process for success. Individuals who complete the course will not only be one step away from aCOP designation as well as earn 75 points toward their COP designation.
Content for this one-day Governance Workshop is based on the Outsourcing Professional Body of Knowledge (OPBOK) and the Outsourcing Professional Standards developed by IAOP and the Outsourcing Standards Board. Whether your goal is to earn 15 points toward the Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) designation or simply to gain comprehensive cutting-edge knowledge on all aspects of creating and sustaining successful relationships with your partners — this workshop is for you! Studies have found that more than half of all organizations spend two percent or less of an outsourcing contract’s cost on governance. However, more than 60 percent report losing 10 percent or more of the contract’s value because of poor governance between the customer and the provider. Given this, professionals involved in outsourcing clearly have an important role to play in helping their organizations plan, invest in, and execute a cohesive set of business practices for designing and implementing a strong governance program.
This course will provide service providers, large and small, with the knowledge and skills to deal with complex and rapidly changing market realities and challenges that service providers must address to win and survive such as: develop and maintain a competitive advantage and attractive value propositions; deal with growing competition from companies in developing countries that receive, in some situations, government support; rising protectionism in developed countries; developing integrated global marketing, sales, service delivery and operational strategies to support the demands of the multinational customers and others. The course delivers specialized knowledge of Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Account Management (Regional, National and Global), Relationship Management and Service Delivery/Execution and how it impacts business development and client retention which is critical.
